Investigators were trying to determine Friday how a packed ski lift suddenly ran backward, injuring at least a dozen people. Sauk County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Chip Meister said the incident occurred around 7 pm Thursday at Devil's Head Resort in Merrimac, about 25 miles northwest of Madison. The lift was operating normally when it stopped and reversed direction. Riders David Brady and Carl Schleich told WKOW-TV they saw dozens of skiers jump off the lift, some falling more than 20 feet, to avoid smashing into a wall at the bottom. Brady said he could hear chairs crashing and the sound of metal on metal. |

This is the beach villa where I stay at during a diving trip to Tulamben, Bali in Sep 2009. It is a nice villa with great views of the swimming pool and sea. It is spacious and has large windows directly facing the sea, where if you wake up early enough, will be able to see the sun rising in the horizon. It is set amidst a quiet secluded environment. Nice place to unwind after a day's diving activity, or even for those who simply wants to relax somewhere. |

Nice huh? :P As usual my thoughts on the project will be in the final video, Part 4, of this set of videos for the island flyover. But also do note this, i'm not entirely 100% sure but i think by accident i may have edited out a few of the (i) point locations by accident. if i did, sorry about that. |

Leanne and I made our way to the South Pacific in January 2009. We stayed for just over a week in Chuuk, which has probably the best wreck diving in the world. There are about 50 wrecks left over from a bombing raid against the Japanese naval base that was here during World War II. The best thing is that so much has been left on them, so you really get a feel for what life might have been like on the ships. This short video is to show you a bit of the Blue Lagoon Resort where we stayed. It's fairly basic, but from what I can gather it's a world better than any other place you can stay on the island. |

5 minute tour of the Kudhimaa Wreck, a 52 metre long cargo ship which was sank next to the Machchafushi resort to provide a fantastic artificial reef. The ship lies in 30m of water and has a large variety of marine life including lion fish, glassfish, blue-fin trevallies, flutfish and surgeon fish. The ship has large openings cut to allow easy access to the inside of the ship. Visibility in the Maldives is amazing, the water is warm and the abundance of marine life amazing.
