Torchmate's Bill Kunz testing jumps for new Xtreme Outlaws 250 Desert Race at Grand Sierra Resort
The folks at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV asked Bill Kunz to bring the Torchmate Class 7 truck to test the new jumps that will be used in the Xtreme Outlaws 250 Desert Race. Here are a few video shots from the jumping session. No crashes, but pretty good air. The race takes place Saturday, June 19th along with the SuperMoto event. Torchmate CNC Cutting Systems is located about a mile from the GSR and is proud to be a sponsor of the event.

Tulamben Wreck Divers Resort Beach Villa Bali
This is the beach villa where I stay at during a diving trip to Tulamben, Bali in Sep 2009. It is a nice villa with great views of the swimming pool and sea. It is spacious and has large windows directly facing the sea, where if you wake up early enough, will be able to see the sun rising in the horizon. It is set amidst a quiet secluded environment. Nice place to unwind after a day's diving activity, or even for those who simply wants to relax somewhere.

Mrs. Discover Sooke and I went out on two Hobie Inflatable Kayaks rented from West Coast Outdoor Adventure Rentals located at the Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina off West Coast Rd, in Sooke, BC located on Vancouver Island. We took the kayaks around the harbour and viewed seals, an old tug wrecked and the shoreline around the town of Sooke, including the Rotary Pier. We had a blast renting these and will be doing so again. What a great way to view the harbour, west coast and Sooke.

Diamond Lane, Solitude Mountain Resort
January 15th 2009 - It wasn't till after I started to upload this video that I noticed the top half of this run is actually rated "Black Diamond" I thought it was just a VERY Steep "Blue". It was pretty fun filming this actually.... the challenge to keep up and not crash all while trying to keep my buddy in the frame.... not as easy as you might think - if you're trying to also NOT wreck at any given point. Next time I may actually be able to keep up with the guy.... and he's on old 2nd time around skis while I'm on nice, new (1 season old) Solomon Xwings... Needless to say, Sean's a lot better skier than I am.

Maldives Scuba Diving - Kudhimaa Wreck, by Neil Parris
5 minute tour of the Kudhimaa Wreck, a 52 metre long cargo ship which was sank next to the Machchafushi resort to provide a fantastic artificial reef. The ship lies in 30m of water and has a large variety of marine life including lion fish, glassfish, blue-fin trevallies, flutfish and surgeon fish. The ship has large openings cut to allow easy access to the inside of the ship. Visibility in the Maldives is amazing, the water is warm and the abundance of marine life amazing.
